But she had nearly insurmountable problems with her website.
Her developer was in some foreign country, and completely unavailable! Her Hosting Company was in the Ukraine. The Domain Registrar was in Paris. Her local representative was in Issaquah.
None of them was responsive...
That was the tip of the Iceberg!
To add insult to injury, the registrar was going to expire her domain and the hosting company could only be contacted via chat. The developer could not be directly contacted at all. The local rep would not respond to requests.
We met Pam at the NIA Redmond Networking Group; in short order we became aware of these and even more issues she was having with her website and providers.
The Hosting company told her that she did not have an account and that her site would be shut down. The email provider threatened to shut down her email even though she had paid her invoices. Her Domain Registrar... You get the idea.
Pam wanted several aspects of her site updated, not to mention sorting out her domain registration, clearing up her hosting company account, domain registration and email issues. Not one of her resources was responsive and they all threatened to shut down her services, with no reasonable ability for her to communicate with them.
Back to Square One
Efinitytech stepped in and tackled the issues and providers one by one, initially managing to gain enough control over the site to make critical updates. Ultimately we completely redeveloped and rebuilt the site on our VSM Platform giving us complete control over the website. Next, we will tackle her domain registration and email!
