To create a new page, go to the "Pages" tab on the VSM website. Below, select the "New Page" tab.
Title your page name. Once you've input your page title, go on to the next page.
There is a selection of four page types. The descriptions of each are located below the title.
Choose the page style that best fits your needs. If you're not sure which will fit best, choose the standard page.
Once you've selected the page, you are able to select a template. There are one or more templates set up for a website, select the one that is most appropriate for the page you are trying to create. Each one has a preview of what it will look like below the title. Scroll to see all options.
The first option is usually the most commonly used template.
Lastly, you can choose what content you want on your page. There may be a saved content option on the right hand side of the screen. To understand where this comes from, click here.
If you don't want to predefined content into your page OR you don't have any Saved Content Layouts, select the blue "Blank Page" option on the left hand side.
Once you have selected everything to fit your needs, click the "Next" button. Your screen will look like this:
Select "Edit your new page". You will then see a preview of what your new page will look like.
Click the "Edit" icon at the bottom of the page.
Add or delete any text, images, clips, etc. into your page. To save your progress, click either of the blue "Save" buttons at the bottom of the page.
NOTE: "Save Changes" will save your edits but still keep the "Edit" screen open. "Save and Close" will save your edits and then close the "Edit Content" page.
